Rooted in small-town Michigan and shaped by time spent hiking mountains and beaches in the Pacific Northwest, my work blends Midwestern grit with a love for nature’s wild edges. Whether I’m carving in the shop, strolling fields and forests, fishing a backwoods stream, pond or lake, camping and cooking or gardening, pouring resin, or shaping concrete into something bold, painting a canvas, I’m always chasing that next creative spark.
